About Us

Welcome to Kahlil Gibran Foundation KGF a website dedicated the late poet and artist Kahlil Gibran.

The site also serves as a unique and important resource for scholars of Gibran and it will include media announcements and online publication from various global institutes concerning essays judged to be of interest for those studying Gibran.

The scope of Gibran’s studies is vast, ranging from topics related to the dialogue of civilizations, interfaith reconciliation, human rights, environmental sustainability, and the spiritual and ethical foundations for a global society. As Gibran’s work increases in influence in the world, and continues being translated into new languages such as Hindi, Chinese, and Papiamentu, the KGF’s primary role is to provide a digital platform to enable content from as many as 45 languages.

KGF is a non-profit and non-political organization, and its sole purpose is to encourage the study of Gibran’s works and advance its scholarship. This website is a work in development and over the coming weeks we will be announcing some new initiatives along with a new and improved website designed to celebrate the artist, poet and man.  So please make sure to visit us time and again and let us know what you think and don’t forget to Like our Facebook page.

  1. Hello,
My father in laws father was a prominent heart surgeon in Boston and supported the arts a great deal.
He commissioned Kahlil to produce a sculpture of a mask from the Gabon trip of Africa. It’s a wonderful piece I have owned for many years and was hoping someone might know if there is an expert on Kahlil’s work and if so he or she’s contact information.

    Thank you, – Jim Savage
